Who we are
GetAIStox runs a market-intelligence workspace—charts, screeners, portfolio tooling, and optional AI features—built for individual investors and traders. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
When we say "GetAIStox," "we," or "us," we mean the team operating the service at getaistox.com and related app URLs we publish.
Data we collect
Account & identity
When you register or sign in (including optional Google OAuth), we may process:
- Name or display name
- Email address
- Authentication identifiers from your sign-in provider
- A password hash if you use email/password login (we never store plaintext passwords)
Product usage
To run the product and improve reliability, we process technical and activity signals such as:
- Approximate location derived from IP (for fraud prevention and rate limits)
- Browser, device, and coarse diagnostics when errors occur
- Pages and features you interact with, and rough timing (not keystroke logging)
- Symbols you search, chart, or add to watchlists—so the interface can respond
Portfolio & preferences
If you use portfolio, alerts, or similar tools, we store the inputs you save—such as tickers, quantities, notes, and settings—so those features work across sessions.
Payments
Paid plans are billed through PayPal. We do not receive or store your full PayPal credentials. PayPal processes card and wallet details under its own terms and privacy notice. We may see limited metadata (for example subscription status, payer email on the transaction, and IDs needed to reconcile your account).
Support & safety
If you email us or use the contact form, we keep those messages long enough to respond and maintain ordinary business records. We may use automated signals (including bot checks where enabled) to reduce abuse.
How we use data
- Provide, secure, and personalize the Service
- Authenticate you and prevent fraud or misuse
- Operate subscriptions, entitlements, and support tickets
- Measure reliability, fix bugs, and plan product improvements
- Send service emails (security alerts, receipts, essential notices)
- Send optional marketing only where you have opted in and law allows
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards: encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords where applicable, access controls on production systems, and infrastructure providers designed for high-availability workloads. No online service can promise perfect security—if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will notify you where the law requires it.
Sharing
We share personal data only as needed to operate GetAIStox:
- PayPal — subscription checkout and billing
- Hosting & infrastructure — for example application and edge hosting (e.g. Vercel-class providers) so the site loads globally
- Database — encrypted storage with our database host (e.g. MongoDB Atlas-class services)
- Market data & AI vendors — partners that power quotes, news, or model inference receive only what their APIs require (often non-identifying request metadata plus the symbols you query)
- Legal & safety — when required by law, court order, or to protect users and the Service
- Business transfers — if ownership changes, your information may transfer subject to this policy or equivalent protections with notice
Your choices & rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict certain processing of your personal data, and to object to some uses (including direct marketing). To exercise these rights, email us—you may need to verify your identity first.
Cookies & similar tech
We use cookies and local storage where needed for sessions, preferences, security, and measurement. You can control cookies through your browser; disabling some cookies may limit features. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
Children
GetAIStox is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor provided data, contact us and we will delete it promptly where required.
Changes
We will post updates here and revise the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects how we use personal data, we will provide additional notice (for example by email or in-product banner) where the law requires.
